Herbalism 101: Herbal Remedies & Soaks

Join Holistic Wellness Educator Nitika Achalam as she discusses the legacy and history of herbalism traditions passed down from our ancestors and explores garden specimens to reveal their multiple purposes in this interactive class. Learn to create beneficial tea and a body soak using fresh and dried plants found in many gardens. Receive an explanation of some of the pros and cons of different types of carriers. In this hands-on workshop, together we will formulate an herbal remedy and each participant will be able to take a container home with them. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to work with local herbs with low risk of adverse effects.  All materials provided.
